Introducing The Balanced Business Formula Podcast

Thrive On Purpose Podcast

This episode feels extra special because today, we’re celebrating a big milestone and diving into some exciting changes, including a brand-new name, a fresh vision for the podcast, and what’s ahead for this community.

If you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for sticking with me on this incredible journey. And if you’re new—welcome! You’re joining us at the perfect time, and I’m so thrilled to have you here.

Now, let’s dive into the story behind this rebrand, what inspired it, and everything you can expect moving forward.

Acknowledging the Journey

First, I want to take a moment to reflect on this journey. When I launched this podcast almost a year ago, I had no idea what it would grow into. Back then, I was still navigating how I wanted to use this platform. I didn’t intend for it to be my main marketing tool—it was just a space to share my thoughts, connect with other entrepreneurs, and offer value.

But as the months went by, this podcast became so much more. It’s grown into one of my favorite ways to connect with you, to share insights, and to dive deep into the topics that matter most to women entrepreneurs like us.

That said, the name I started with—Thriving on Purpose—while meaningful, didn’t fully capture the vision I now have for this space. And it certainly didn’t make the podcast as discoverable as it could be for new listeners.

Inspiration Behind the Name Change

A few months ago, I made a big shift in my business. I decided to step away from Instagram as my primary marketing platform and focus on long-form content and SEO strategies. And for me, podcasting became the obvious choice.

If you’re curious about why I made that move, check out Episode 31, where I share all about leaving Instagram and creating a business that aligns with your values. Another favorite is Episode 17, where Rosemarie Callender talks about using podcasting as a primary marketing tool. Shout out to you, Rosemarie!

After months of reflection, inspiration, and educating myself, I realized it was time for my podcast’s name to evolve, too. I wanted a name that worked for me—a name that aligned with my brand, spoke to my audience, and made it clear what this podcast is about.

What to Expect Moving Forward

With this new name comes a renewed focus on the content I’ll be sharing with you. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Strategies and tools: I’ll share actionable advice to help you grow your business while maintaining balance and avoiding burnout.
  • Behind-the-scenes stories: I’ll take you into my life and business, showing you the real, raw moments that come with building a business aligned with your lifestyle.
  • Interviews with amazing guests: We’ll hear from inspiring entrepreneurs and experts who’ll share their wisdom, insights, and personal journeys.
  • Business audits: This is a new feature I’m so excited about! I’ll be working with listeners like you to dive into specific challenges or goals in your business and providing personalized strategies to help you move forward.

These business audits episodes will feature real entrepreneurs—just like you—who want help solving one specific challenge or reaching a big goal in their business. Think of it as a live coaching session where we’ll dig deep, troubleshoot, and create a plan of action.

For example, if someone’s struggling to attract the right clients, we might look at their messaging and marketing strategy. Or if someone wants to create more work-life balance, we’ll explore ways to streamline their business and set boundaries.

The best part? These episodes will give you actionable takeaways you can apply to your own business. If you’d like to be featured, go ahead a book a time in my calendar and pick the one that says:” Free Business Growth Audit“!

The Move from Social Media

Another major shift I’ve made recently is moving our community off of social media and onto Slack.

Entrepreneurship can feel lonely sometimes, and I wanted to create a space where we could connect without the noise and distractions of platforms like Facebook or Instagram.

In our Slack community, you’ll find:

  • Support from like-minded entrepreneurs.
  • A safe space to share wins, ask questions, and get feedback.
  • Resources to help you thrive in your business and personal life.

If you haven’t joined yet, I’d love to welcome you into the group.

A Personal Note to You

Finally, I want to take a moment to thank you. Whether you’ve been listening since the beginning or you’re tuning in for the first time today, I’m so grateful for you.

This podcast has grown because of your support—because you’ve shared it, left reviews, and shown up week after week. It’s a privilege to be on this journey with you, and I’m so excited for everything that’s ahead.

Remember, your business is yours to design. You have the power to create a life and business that aligns with your values, your goals, and your unique version of success.

Thank you for trusting me to guide you, and here’s to building balanced businesses—and thriving—together.
